The Morganville Vampire Series

Welcome to Morganville.
Just don't stay out after dark.

Morganville is a small town filled with unusual characters-when the sun goes down, the bad come out. In Morganville, there is an evil that lurks in the darkest shadows-one that will spill into the bright light of day.

For Claire Danvers, high school was hell, but college may be murder. It was bad enough that she got on the wrong side of Monica, the meanest of the school's mean girls, but now she's got three new roommates, who all have secrets of their own. And the biggest secret of all isn't really a secret, except from Claire: Morganville is run by vampires, and they are hungry for fresh blood...

'DUMP MEYER'S TWILIGHT BOOKS AND REPLACE THEM WITH THE MORGANVILLES' SFX Magazine

I love this books so much! I think the romance between Claire and Shane (one of her new roommates) is great. They don't start going out until a few book in the series, but you can tell they have chemistry. Shane really loved Claire, he's very protective over her even though-after a while-she is stronger enough herself.
Her friendship with Eve and Michael is great too! They are different in their own way, (especially Michael!), but they get on great and she bonds with her three new roommates almost straight away.
Claire soon meets the founder of Morganville, Amelia, who asks Claire to be the assistant of Amelia old friend, Mryinn. Mryinn is one of the oldest and smartest vampires around. They soon become very good friends. There is a connection between them, I think that they do have feelings for each other, but it will never go any further then friends.
Before she meets Amelia and Mryinn, she meets Oliver-Eve 'human' boss (or so we thought!)- who she likes when she first meets and then she finds out what Oliver is and what he did to one of her new roommates.
Monica is the reason why Claire moved out of the university in the first place, and just when Claire thinks she got rid of Monica and her 'friends', Monica gets her again and again (and it doesn't stop). However Monica is the least of her problems in Morganville.
Claire becomes a important person in Morganville.

YOU NEED TO READ IT!!!

(It deserves TWO 'Awesome' ratings in my eyes!!!)

Lily: A Ghost Story.

Front Cover
'MY NAME IS MARIE COTTER AND I WANT YOU TO BELIEVE ME. EVERY WORD OF THIS STORY IS TRUE...'

Seventeen-year-old Marie has had a lot to cope with in her young life. But things are getting better, especially when she gets a job working for the widower Dr Slade, looking after his four-year-old daughter, Amy.

At first, her new job seems perfect, Marie loves Amy, and Amy seem to like Marie too. Then things stat to change. It seems that not everyone is happy with the new arrangement. There appears to be someone else in the house-someone who is determined to come between Amy and Marie...

This book is about an average everyday girl called Marie. she never knew her dad and her mum left her at Marie's Gran's when she was a baby. She has lived with her Gran her whole life an they're really close. Her Gran has always been there for her.
When Marie went to college, she met a boy called Rory. After awhile Rory met one of Marie friends Suze and got together with her. A few weeks later she found out she as pregnant. She didn't tell anyone about it at first, then she had a miscarriage. She thought about her baby a lot. After a while her gran took her to her doctor, where they set her to a different doctor, Dr Slade.
After a few weeks talking to Dr Slade, she got better and he offered her a summer job looking after his 4-year-old daughter, Amy. Marie moved to Dr Slade house outside of town to do this job. When Marie first met Amy, she loved her. From the first time she met Amy, things were getting weird.

Opinion

I personally love this book. It was one of the first book I truly loved, even though its only a quick read book (which I don't normally read).
the only problem with it is that it doesn't give full detail about everything, for example, the relationship between Marie and Rory. Also, I think that the author should of gave detail about her parents.
However I do recommend you read this book.

No.7 Foundation.

No.7 mousse Cool Ivory. (£12.99)

I feel like this is generally the best foundation (as long as you have the right colour for your skin tone). I recommend that you go to your nearest boots and get the No.7 skin tone thing done...(I'm sorry I don't know what its called!). Anyway, its brilliant, it totally works! Get it done quickly!
With this foundation, you don't need to put loads on because it spreads evenly on your skin (and it last for ages!).  I think for £12.99 its worth it.

First Post.

I'm just basically going to write about whatever I feel like writing about. So basically just what's in my mind...which is a lot.
I pretty much have an opinion on everything, if I'm honest, so that what I'm going to do...write my opinion on stuff.
